What is a media sales house, and what does it give the advertiser?

The representation model between outlet and advertiser: a single point of contact, outlet knowledge, price and booking advantages, and proof of airing.
A media sales house markets and sells the advertising inventory of outlets such as television channels, radio stations and news websites on their behalf. Instead of building its own sales team, the outlet hands the work to a specialist office, and the advertiser reaches the outlet's inventory through a single point of contact.
The first gain for the advertiser is outlet knowledge. The sales house follows the audience profile, daypart structure and inventory position of the outlets it represents day by day, and recommends which format suits which objective accordingly.
The second gain is process. Proposal, contract, booking, material delivery and invoicing run from one desk; in campaigns spanning several outlets this removes the burden of separate negotiations.
The third gain is measurability. At the end of the campaign, proof of airing and a comparison of planned with delivered are provided. Venüs Medya has run this model since 2016 under a transparent and measurable working principle.
